iPad Stand
Once upon a time there was a girl, let’s call her….Yessica. And Yessica spilled water on her computer keyboard (actually her daughter did it but let’s not point fingers). And it killed poor Yessica’s computer. Yessica then had to run all over NYC trying to convince someone to fix it for her. No one would. And so she bought a new computer. And seven days later…she spilled water on it again.*
So, proving that she could indeed be taught, and to save her marriage, Yessica promised to only cook with her iPad from then on. Which she mostly does. Oh, and she also bought a nifty little clear keyboard cover that never comes off her computer…just in case.

*the conclusion to the second water “incident” was much cheerier. Two very good friends rescued her computer with a world’s largest Ziploc bag and a comparably enormous bag of rice. Computer stayed in the bag of rice for three days, dried out and worked again. And it smells really nice now… even if the keys are a little crunchy sometimes.
