Corksicle in wine

This is one of those things that could go either way.  Is it clutter? It is an unnecessary tchotchke? (I lived in NYC long enough to be able to use that word). I’ve thought long and hard about it and I don’t think so. I think The Corksicle is brilliant!  It is a way to keep your white or rosé wine chilled but not super-duper cold, which is what happens in ice buckets. It is also a way to put a slight chill on a bottle pinot noir because you KNOW you have yours in a cute little wine rack above your refrigerator because the law of there is no where else to put it just slightly edges out the law of heat rises.   And it’s not even pretentious because it’s called a CORKSICLE.  See?  Brilliant.
